Petersfield Fireworks: Steep 5 Nov, Bordon 7 Nov 2026

Bonfire night 2026 falls on Thursday 5 November. Two displays around Petersfield already have 2026 dates published by their own organisers: Steep on the night itself, and Bordon on Saturday 7 November. Petersfield’s own big night, the Round Table display at Bell Hill, has no 2026 date and no tickets on sale.

Everything below was checked on 4 September 2026 against the organisers’ own pages. One warning first.

The council’s own list is still showing last year’s dates

East Hampshire District Council keeps a page called Local firework displays in the district. It is live today and it is entirely 2025: Petersfield Round Table on Saturday 1 November 2025, Steep on Wednesday 5 November 2025, Four Marks on Friday 7 November 2025, Sheet and Bordon on Saturday 8 November 2025.

Those weekdays were right for 2025 and are wrong for 2026. The 5th is a Thursday this year, not a Wednesday. Do not plan an evening off that page.

Steep bonfire and fireworks: confirmed, Thursday 5 November

The Steep Bonfire Committee has published its 2026 event on the village’s own site, steepvillage.com, headed “Steep Bonfire & Fireworks, Thursday 5 November 2026”. It is on Steep Common, GU32 2DE, which the organisers describe as opposite Steep Church, next to the school.

The listing panel on the same page gives the event as running 6pm to 9.30pm, which is wider than the 6.30pm gates in the text. Treat 6.30pm as the time to arrive for.

Prices at the gate, as published by the committee: child aged 4 to 16 £6, a single adult £10, and a family ticket for two adults and two children £25. The committee says numbers on the field are limited and asks people to buy in advance through the village site where they can.

Food and drink are run by the Friends of Steep School. This year’s proceeds go to the Rosemary Foundation, Naomi House and the Friends of Steep School.

Parking is the catch. The committee says parking at the common is very limited and asks everyone to park at Bedales School on Church Road and walk up, with wardens directing traffic.

One thing to ignore on that page: a paragraph further down still begins “For 2023 the committee have decided to run ticketing on the local Steep Village Directory Site”. That sentence has not been updated, but the ticketing route it describes is still the one in use.

Bordon fireworks: confirmed, Saturday 7 November, free

The Shed in Bordon has its Bordon Fireworks Extravaganza 2026 listed for Saturday 7 November, at The Shed, Sergeants Yard, Bordon, GU35 0DJ. The venue lists the event as 5.30pm to 8.30pm with the display at 7pm, and tags it a free event.

Two practical points from the same listing. There is a road closure from 4pm to 8pm so caterers can set up and clear away safely. And parking is limited, so the venue asks people to walk.

The Shed also says plainly: “Please keep an eye out for more timings once these are finalised.” So the 7pm display time is the venue’s own, but the rest of the running order is not fixed yet.

Be careful searching for this one. The Shed’s older page for the Whitehill and Bordon Firework Extravaganza is still up, still ranks, and is for Saturday 4 November 2023. It carries a “This event has passed” note, but only near the bottom.

Petersfield Round Table at Bell Hill: no 2026 date on sale

This is the display most people mean when they search for Petersfield fireworks, and as of 4 September there is nothing to book.

The Round Table sells through Ticket Tailor, and its box office at buytickets.at/petersfieldrtevent currently reads “No events currently listed”. That is the organiser’s own page, not a third-party listing, so it is the reliable check. Look again there rather than at any what’s-on site.

For what it is worth, here is what the 2025 night looked like, from the Round Table’s own 2025 event page, which is still readable:

• Saturday 1 November 2025, the 34th year of the display
• Bell Hill Recreation Ground, Petersfield, GU32 3BU
• 5.30pm gates, food and bar open; 6.30pm bonfire lit; 7pm fireworks
• Advance: adult £10, child £5, family £20. On the day: adult £12, child £6, family £25. Children counted as 5 to 15, under-5s free, family means two adults and two children
• No parking at the site or in the surrounding residential streets, and the organisers point people at the central car parks in town and note the station is a five minute walk
• No sparklers, fireworks or alcohol brought in, and no refunds

The Round Table says the event has raised over £95,000 for local causes across eight years. Those 2025 prices are a guide to the order of magnitude only. They are not 2026 prices, and nobody has published 2026 prices.

Sheet and Four Marks: nothing published yet

Sheet. The Friends of Sheet School display usually lands on a Saturday in early November, on one side of bonfire night or the other. The village’s own site, sheetvillage.net, carries a “Looking ahead” block that runs as far as Friday 6 November for the Sheet Association AGM, and there is no fireworks entry in it. In 2025 the council listed it for Saturday 8 November with gates at 4pm and the bonfire and fireworks at 6pm. Note that the council’s page put it on the Village Green while the village’s own past listings put it on the Millennium Field, so check the venue as well as the date when it is announced.

Four Marks. The Friends of Four Marks Primary School PTA runs this one, also through Ticket Tailor, and its box office at buytickets.at/friendsoffourmarksprimaryschool also reads “No events currently listed” today. In 2025 it was at Four Marks Recreation Ground, Uplands Lane, GU34 5AF, with gates at 5pm and fireworks at 6.30pm.

Parking and roads on the night

Every one of these events tells people not to drive to the site. Steep sends you to Bedales, Bordon closes a road and asks you to walk, and the Round Table sends you to the central car parks in town.

Hampshire County Council publishes temporary road closure orders on its public notices pages. As of 4 September there is no notice for any of these events in the East Hampshire list, including the Bordon closure the venue has already announced. That is normal this far out.

Still to be confirmed: the Petersfield Round Table’s 2026 date, prices and on-sale day, which in past years have landed in October; the Sheet and Four Marks dates; and the rest of Bordon’s running order. This page will be updated as each one is published.
